In 2022, Frigorífico Better Beef achieved a significant milestone by obtaining BRCGS Food Safety Audit certification, a recognition of excellence in food safety aligned with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This certification is widely recognized in the food industry for its rigorous safety and quality standards, and its achievement opens doors to new markets and commercial opportunities.
BRCGS is renowned for its high certification standards, and the approval of Better Beef is a reflection of its commitment to food safety and quality. During the audit, the company was thoroughly assessed and demonstrated success in key areas such as Senior Management Commitment, Food Safety Plan (HACCP), Food Safety and Quality Management System, Site Standards, Product Control, Process Control and Personnel.
Danilo Santos, Quality Control Manager, expressed pride in the achievement: “The company’s approval proves that we have an effective management system that guarantees the quality, authenticity and safety of food. All the procedures implemented, organizational and management policies validate the consolidation of standards at the Meatpacking Plant.”
