Better Group investe em economia circular: projeto transforma batata-doce em nutrição animal, etanol e biogás
A Agropecuária Vista Alegre – empresa do Better Group, um dos maiores grupos frigoríficos do Brasil – anunciou o início do processo de obtenção de documentos ambientais para a implantação de um projeto para produção de etanol, biogás e ração animal a partir da batata-doce. Com investimento de R$ 20 milhões na ampliação da indústria e na implantação de biodigestor, a iniciativa amplia a capacidade produtiva e diversifica uso do tubérculo fora do padrão comercial. A expectativa é produzir 7 milhões de litros de etanol por ano, dos quais 5 milhões terão origem na fermentação da batata-doce, além de 7 mil toneladas anuais de ração e 7 milhões de metros cúbicos de biogás com a inclusão do dejeto bovino.

Better Beef heading for export to the Japanese market
Better Beef directors participated in a meeting with Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, Secretary of Agriculture Guilherme Piai, and Japanese Consul General Shimizu-san to discuss the opening of the Japanese market to São Paulo beef. 2nd Better Run brings together more than 600 people
The event featured two modalities, walking and running, and had a record attendance of 400 active participants and a total of over 600 people present throughout the program. In addition to the sporting activity, Better Run had a strong social bias: more than 300 kilos of food were collected, destined for charitable institutions in the region, reinforcing the company's role as an agent of transformation in the communities where it operates.
